Everything you need before you start the application.

What you will need

  • Your full name, father's name, date of birth and address
  • A working mobile number — this becomes your login
  • A clear photograph of yourself (selfie is fine)
  • Photographs of your Aadhaar card, front and back
  • The registration fee, paid by bank transfer or UPI
  • The payment receipt or screenshot to upload

Registration fee

One-time fee
₹500.00

Paid manually by bank transfer or UPI. There is no online payment gateway — you pay from your own bank or UPI app and upload the receipt, and our team verifies it by hand.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

The six steps

Step 1
Personal information
Name, parentage, date of birth, contact details and full address.
Step 2
Photograph
A clear head-and-shoulders photograph, used on your press ID card.
Step 3
Identity documents
Aadhaar front and back. These are stored privately and never shown publicly.
Step 4
Account
Choose a password. Your mobile number is your username.
Step 5
Payment
Pay the fee and upload the receipt, UTR or transaction number.
Step 6
Verification
Our team reviews everything and either approves you, or asks you for a correction.

How you earn

When a story you filed generates revenue, the office records that revenue against your story and your commission share is calculated automatically. Your ledger shows every credit and every payment made to you.

Commission is a percentage of recorded revenue, set per reporter, and never depends on page views.
